These do not work for IPod or Ipod touch even though the description indicates that they do. Don't waste your money.

I purchased the chargers so I could have my phone readily available. I seen these and thought wow for this price I cant go wrong.
I was way way wrong! Not only did both chargers flake out after less than 2 weeks of use, but the car charger almost caused a fire in my car! I dont know if the random weirdness my phone now has about it was cause from the charger shorting out, but I can tell you that these products are dangerous and should be avoided!
The charger got so hot that it was almost to hot to pull out of the outlet, and caused my truck to smell of burnt plastic and electronics for nearly a week!
It was on the brink of catching on fire!
Please stay away and spend a little extra money on a name brand. I did after this happened and have not had an issue since. So to me that ruled out my vehicle outlet as the culprit.
And please please dont buy this for your teenagers cause Lord only knows what would have happened if this had happened to them.
